About This App

A comprehensive browser-based background removal tool that preserves original image size and resolution. Multiple removal methods: color-based picking with adjustable tolerance, chroma key for green/blue screens, magic wand for connected regions, threshold-based luminance separation, and manual brush for pixel-perfect control. Advanced features include edge feathering, color spill removal, before/after comparison slider, background replacement (solid, gradient, image, blur), undo/redo history, and batch processing. Supports all major image formats plus PDF page extraction. Server-side PHP processing handles full-resolution operations and PDF conversion. Export as transparent PNG, JPEG with custom background, WebP, or multi-page PDF.

How to Use

  1. 1 Drop an image or PDF onto the workspace, or click Open to browse
  2. 2 Choose a removal method from the left toolbar (Color Pick, Magic Wand, Chroma Key, Brush, Threshold)
  3. 3 Click on the background area to remove it โ€” adjust tolerance with the slider
  4. 4 Use the Eraser brush for manual fine-tuning, Restore brush to bring back areas
  5. 5 Apply Edge Refine to smooth edges and remove color spill
  6. 6 Optionally replace the background with a solid color, gradient, image, or blur effect
  7. 7 Use the before/after slider to compare results
  8. 8 Export as transparent PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF
  9. 9 For PDFs, pages are extracted as images โ€” select which pages to process
