About This App
A focused writing environment for Markdown. The preview renders as you type with synchronised scrolling, so the rendered result never drifts away from where you are editing. A generated outline of your headings doubles as navigation for long documents — click any heading to jump to it. The toolbar and keyboard shortcuts handle the fiddly syntax: bold, italic, links, code blocks, tables and task lists. Live statistics track words, characters, reading time and heading counts, and a focus mode strips the interface back to just the text when you want to write rather than fiddle. Export finished work as standalone HTML with styling included, as a clean Markdown file, or send it straight to print. Drafts are saved locally as you type, so closing the tab will not lose your work.
How to Use
- 1 Write Markdown in the left pane — the preview updates as you type
- 2 Use the toolbar or shortcuts: Ctrl+B bold, Ctrl+I italic, Ctrl+K link
- 3 Click a heading in the Outline to jump straight to it
- 4 Toggle Sync scroll to keep the preview aligned with the editor
- 5 Switch to Focus to hide everything except the text
- 6 Check word count and reading time in the status bar
- 7 Export as HTML, download the Markdown, or print
- 8 Your draft is saved locally as you type
