About This Game
Kakuro is a crossword built from sums. Every run of white squares carries a clue — the number above the diagonal is the total for the run to the right, the number below it is the total for the run going down. Fill the run with digits from 1 to 9 so they add up to exactly that total, and never repeat a digit inside the same run. That single no-repeat rule is what turns arithmetic into deduction.
How to Play
- 1 Click a white square and type a digit from 1 to 9
- 2 The number above a diagonal is the sum for the run to the right
- 3 The number below the diagonal is the sum for the run going down
- 4 Digits may not repeat within the same run
- 5 Arrow keys move between squares, Backspace clears one
- 6 Conflicting entries are flagged in red
- 7 Use Check to see whether the grid is complete
